WHAT IS IN BLOOM TV?
An online surf comp with a real-world premiere! Created for the love of surfing and to support Kiwi surfers. Submit a clip, come watch NZ’s best on the big screen and back your mates.
WHERE + WHEN IS IN BLOOM TV?
Astrolabe Brew Bar, Mount Maunganui. Friday 13 November 2026. Kicking off at 7pm and going late!
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS?
NZ’s best surfers on the big screen, beers in hand and a room full of people who love surfing. We screen the best clips, everyone gets a vote, the judges have their say, we give out prizes and then we party.
HOW DO I ENTER?
Head to the submission form above, fill in your details and submit a link to your surf clip. Easy as. Anyone can enter — if you surf, send us a clip up to 3 minutes long.
FREE TICKETS + JUDGING
Every surfer and filmmaker who enters a valid clip gets a free ticket to In Bloom the following day, provided they’re 18 or over. Judging is 50% expert panel and 50% the people who show up. The judges rank their favourites and everyone on the night gets one vote.
WINNERS + THE CREW BEHIND IT
The Brinks Best Barrel and Astrolabe Monster Manouver are handed out on the night, with the overall winner announced on stage at In Bloom the following day. Big love to the team behind In Bloom, our sponsors, and everyone who submits a clip or shows up.
